Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- must have vision capabilities including depth perception, color vision and field of vision
- ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions, and enhancing the shopping experience
- answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- operates cash register accurately and scans products
- redeems promotional coupons and handles transactions including cash, checks, credit card charges, in-store charges and discounts
- places merchandise in bags or boxes and hands to customers
- assists with inventory of the department
- receives and checks in delivered merchandise and stocks shelves
- ensures proper maintenance of the lot including shoveling snow and spreading ice melt
- refills outside towel holders and refreshes window washer fluid
- removes trash inside and out in a timely manner
- checks in products and places them away, reviews invoices if needed
- practices proper sanitation procedures and keeps the work area clean
- cleans registers, restrooms, break room, backroom, sweeps and mops floors
- maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- adheres to company policies
- reports to work on time
- orders merchandise and supplies as needed
