Job Requirements
- No education or experience requirements
- Must be able to physically perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Must have vision adequate for the job including depth perception and color vision
- Must be able to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to temperature extremes, dampness, chemical hazards, and equipment movement hazards
- Must adhere to company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
- Must report to work when scheduled and on time
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach products, loading/unloading heavy items, and taking customer requests
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Operates cash register accurately, scans products, redeems coupons, handles transactions and issues receipts
- Places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers
- Assists with inventory and receives and checks delivered merchandise
- Maintains cleanliness inside and outside the store including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and snow/ice removal
- Adheres to sanitation procedures and company policies
- Reports to work on time and maintains personal hygiene and dress
- Orders merchandise and prices products as needed
- Performs other related duties and special projects
