Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Must have vision with or without correction from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Must be able to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Must understand and practice proper sanitation procedures
- Must adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- Must report to work when scheduled and on time
Job Qualifications

- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to file, post, mail materials, copy data, and provide basic direction
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of operating cash registers and retail equipment
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, passing along suggestions
- Answers telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Operates cash register accurately and scans product
- Redeems promotional coupons, food stamps, processes payments and issues receipts
- Places merchandise in bags or boxes
- Assists with inventory and receives delivered merchandise
- Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of store and lot
- Cleans registers, restrooms, breaks room, sweeps and mops floor
- Adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- Reports to work on time as scheduled
