Job Requirements
- No education or experience requirements
- must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- must be able to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- vision including depth perception and color vision
- able to work in temperature extremes and exposure to chemicals
- successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions
- answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and pleasant work environment
- operates cash register accurately and scans products
- redeems promotional coupons, receives cash, checks, completes credit-card transactions, handles discounts
- places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers
- assists with inventory of the department
- receives and checks delivered merchandise and stocks shelves
- ensures proper maintenance of lot including snow shoveling and ice melting
- fills towel holders and window washer fluid
- removes trash inside and out
- checks in product and may review invoices
- practices proper sanitation and keeps work area clean
- cleans registers, restrooms, break room, and floors
- maintains adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time
- orders merchandise and supplies as needed
- prices products
- performs other job-related duties and special projects as required
