Job Requirements
- No education or experience requirements
- ability to physically perform medium work with exertion up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- ability to handle temperature extremes and dampness
- ability to follow safety procedures related to electrical hazards and chemicals
- availability to work night and weekend shifts
- completion of pre-employment drug screening

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading/unloading heavy products, noting and passing along suggestions
- answers telephone promptly and provides friendly service
- works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- operates cash register accurately and scans products
- redeems coupons, food stamps, processes payments, counts change and issues receipts
- places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers
- assists with inventory
- receives and checks delivered merchandise, fills displays and stocks shelves
- maintains lot by shoveling snow, spreading ice melt, hosing down
- replenishes outside towel holders and window washer fluid
- removes trash inside and out timely
- checks in and puts away products, may review invoices
- understands and practices sanitation procedures, keeps work area clean
- cleans registers, restrooms, break room
- sweeps and mops floors
- maintains adherence to personal hygiene and dress codes
- adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time
- orders merchandise and supplies
- prices products
- performs other job-related duties and special projects as required
