Job Requirements
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions decimals and percentages
- Must have the ability to file post and mail materials
- Ability to guide people and provide basic direction
- Must be able to physically perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must have visual ability including depth perception and color vision
- Must be able to perform physical activities including climbing balancing stooping kneeling reaching standing walking pulling lifting grasping feeling talking hearing and repetitive motions
- Must be able to work in fast paced environments with temperature extremes and exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of pre employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior customer service experience beneficial
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle various payment methods
- Basic arithmetic skills involving fractions decimals and percentages
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and moving objects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Understanding of sanitation and cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Provide prompt efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers warmly
- Assist customers by escorting to products and handling their needs
- Answer telephone and provide helpful service
- Work as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Operate cash register accurately and scan products
- Redeem promotional coupons and complete transactions
- Bag and package merchandise
- Assist with inventory and stock displays
- Receive and organize delivered merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- Adhere to company policies and dress code
- Report to work on time and ready to work
- Order merchandise and supplies as needed
- Price products for customers
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects
