Job Qualifications
- minimum of two years of farm greenhouse edible landscaping gardening or horticultural experience preferred
- ability to operate garden tools farm equipment and machinery
- possession of a valid driver’s license
- strong motivation for sustainability
- ability to follow oral and written directions in English
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
Job Duties
- daily maintenance of plants including propagation greenhouse operations transplanting weeding watering harvesting washing and packing produce
- care for farm animals including feeding watering shelter and hygiene
- provide basic nursery care for perennial trees shrubs and vines
- maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of work area
- operate and maintain small garden tools and machinery
- report safety equipment or maintenance concerns promptly
- collaborate to maintain farm inventory and monitor key metrics including crop yields daily harvest weights animal health weather and pest management
- showcase farm areas to members guests and prospects
- respond promptly to member requests
- collaborate on event planning and educational activities
- participate in member teaching and assisting in farm events
- communicate harvesting schedules to Food and Beverage Culinary and Member Services departments
- monitor harvest weights and share with Executive Chef
- collaborate to create new offerings farm dinners and activities
- stock and restock produce as needed
- attend department meetings and trainings
- perform other duties as assigned
