Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in food and beverage operations
  • Safe server alcohol and food handlers certification
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-10F to +110F)
  • Ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to operate office equipment
  • Must comply with grooming and uniform standards
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to work varying schedules
  • Ability to follow company safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in food and beverage operation required
  • Safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills
  • Good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Knowledge of complex mathematical calculations and computer programs
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation
  • Ability to distinguish product quality, taste, texture, and presentation
  • Ability to conduct meetings, menu briefings and maintain communication lines
  • Knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, key system, and POS
  • Strong issue resolution and analytical skills
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Support and supervise the hotel food and beverage outlets while working closely with the F&B leadership team
  • Maintain consistent communication with vendors and suppliers for timely rollout of seasonal food options
  • Participate in department monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories
  • prepare and submit inventory reports to accounting in a timely manner
  • Monitor quality of service and product
  • Cooperate in menu planning and preparation
  • Conduct orders of food and beverage supplies
  • Stay up to date on brand requirements and changes to the restaurant
  • Ensure attendance at all mandatory meetings
  • Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and staff satisfaction results
  • Responsible for maintaining high energy, positive attitude, and professional appearance
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using hotel standard procedures and safety and health standards
  • Regularly review and evaluate customer acceptance of the restaurant and bar
  • Recommend new operating and marketing policies when needed
  • Continuously evaluate and encourage improvement of staff members in the food and beverage department
  • Maintain quality and consistency of food products
  • Arrange and supervise training for new staff including SOPs and policies
  • Cross-train staff in all positions and equipment
  • Serve as a role model adhering to policies, standards, and punctuality
  • Assist with guest inquiries
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Perform other job duties as requested
