Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience
- Preferred five years experience in food and beverage
- Ability to perform mathematical operations including rate, ratio, and percent calculations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of kitchen and restaurant sanitation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to interact diplomatically and tactfully with guests and coworkers
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operation documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work in noisy environments with exposure to secondhand smoke
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Eligibility for required licenses and permits
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or two years previous customer service experience or combination of education and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of kitchen and restaurant sanitation and equipment operation
- Ability to interact diplomatically with guests and staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to qualify for required licenses and permits
- Ability to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
Job Duties
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department
- Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievement of performance and profit objectives
- Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager on scheduling concerns
- Support compliance with departmental budgets
- Promote superior customer service and ensure standards are followed
- Monitor pars and inventory to assist in cost control
- Develop procedures for food service and inspect menu items for customer satisfaction
- Follow quality assurance procedures to meet health department and customer service standards
- Respond to guest needs and report issues to management
- Assist with administrative duties and conduct pre-shift meetings
- Assist in cleaning and resetting food and beverage outlets
- Monitor appearance of food and beverages served
- Assist in cross training team members and support peers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and report potential issues
- Maintain confidentiality in departmental and company matters
- Provide positive communication using ACES training
- Perform duties safely and report potential safety hazards
- Perform duties at Lawrenceburg Event Center as required
- Execute reasonable assigned duties outside job description as necessary
