Job Requirements

Must be 19 years or older
Ability to work day and swing shifts including weekdays and weekends
Ability to secure and maintain Nebraska Gaming License
Certification in ServSafe and TIPS Alcohol Awareness
Previous supervisory experience in high-volume gaming beverage operations
Strong communication and leadership skills
Proficient in POS systems and inventory management
Ability to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations

Job Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent related experience
Three years of experience in food and beverage management
Minimum one year supervisory experience in a high-volume beverage gaming operation including banquets, entertainment, multiple bars and restaurants
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Strong POS operational and programming experience
Knowledge of government health, hotel or food service regulations
Proficient in operational financial management, accountability and budgeting

Job Duties

Practice, support, and maintain the mission, vision and values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha
Provide necessary tools, training, communication, and supplies for the beverage team to deliver exemplary guest service
Assist in scheduling beverage team members to ensure appropriate coverage during operating hours and special events
Monitor par levels and daily inventory of supplies
Maintain beverage inventory and supplies according to business demands
Participate in weekly inventory and assist Beverage Manager with orders
Ensure proper payment and comp authorization on all food and beverage items and assist with cash register balancing
Ensure prompt, efficient, friendly, and quality beverage service
Comply with S.M.A.R.T. or T.I.P.S. training and authorize comp transactions
Participate in developing drink specials and promotions
Stay current with beverage service and offering trends
Attend meetings and training sessions and ensure team compliance with required certifications
Comply with all departmental and regulatory rules, policies, procedures, and controls
Promote positive public and employee relations
Perform other duties as assigned
