Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or enrolled in GED program within 6 months
  • Must be twenty-one years of age or older
  • Must possess Occupational License per Illinois Gaming Act
  • Must complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service and BASSET training
  • Must complete ServeSafe Sanitation training
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours
  • Willing to travel and participate in training
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in conflicts
  • Must demonstrate effective communication in English
  • Must successfully pass job interview and guest service audition
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and mature

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field
  • Two years of food and/or beverage supervisory experience
  • One year experience as a dual-rate supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality F&B department
  • Experience in the hiring department
  • Extensive knowledge of food products and service techniques
  • Familiarity with financial data and cost control
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in multi-shift, complex organizations
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with minimal direction
  • Experience working with computer-based time and attendance systems and Micros Point of Sale

Job Duties

  • Assist food and beverage managers in implementing programs designed to improve operations and customer interactions
  • Help develop and implement customer service training programs
  • Ensure restaurant and beverage areas provide outstanding service to VIP guests and during special events
  • Implement cost control procedures and scheduling programs
  • Counsel, guide, train, and instruct assigned personnel
  • Act immediately on customer complaints and take corrective actions
  • Oversee personnel changes and recommend actions regarding hiring, promotions, demotions, and releases
  • Retain information on promotions, specials, assignments, and entertainment
  • Assume special projects as directed
  • Ensure sufficient inventories are maintained
