Job Requirements
- Must complete TABC alcohol awareness certification as scheduled upon employment
- Must have a valid current Food Handler Card or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
- Must obtain Serve Safe Certificate within 30 days of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 or more years of experience in food and beverage
- Prior leadership experience desired
- Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to communicate in English
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations
- Must participate in trainings and meetings as required.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 or more years of related and progressive Food & Beverage experience, prior leadership experience desired
- Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established operating criteria
- Completes required training as scheduled
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members, guests, and the public
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English to communicate with management, team members and guests
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
Job Duties

- Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders while acting as an extension of the Hotel Drover brand
- Directs, controls all aspects of the Food & Beverage operation in accordance with Hotel Drover standards, policies, and procedures
- Provides guidance and direction to ensure overall departmental success
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Assists in training team members

- Ensures guests receive outstanding, consistent, exceptional service by circulating through each food & beverage area
- seeks opportunities to improve satisfaction and immediately handles any guest concerns or complaints
- Ensures all dining, service and kitchen areas are clean and properly set up
- maintains sufficient inventory of food, supplies and equipment and orders as needed
- Ensures equipment is properly maintained
- Ensures compliance with all food and beverage regulations
- Ensures department follows all standard food handling, TABC, sanitation and health department guidelines
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Assisting with creating weekly schedules, edits daily payroll, processes tip sheets, and approves leave and time away from work within company policy
- Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority, otherwise refers the matter to upper management
- Ensures enforcement of high standards of uniform policy, hygiene, and sanitation throughout the F&B areas
- Covers outlets when leadership team is on vacation or absent.
