Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalence
- Minimum three years experience in food preparation and food service
- Prior experience in front and back of house positions preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand recipes
- Ability to complete required classes or certifications
- Ability to obtain a valid Racing License
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Black non-slip shoes required

- Three-year minimum experience in food preparation and food knowledge preferred
- Prior experience in both front and back of house positions preferred

Job Duties
- Manage daily food and beverage shift operations consisting of food servers, bartenders, bar backs, host and beverage servers
- Assist the Food and Beverage manager with the development and improvement of menu items
- Ensure adherence to food and beverage safety regulations
- Monitor the flow of service and needs of bar, serving, and culinary staff to do their jobs effectively
- Adhere to control procedures for food costs and quality
- Verify that all sanitation and nutrition practices are maintained by Food and Beverage staff
- Prepare written food requisition for supplies and food items for production in the workstation-inventory
- Assist in development of team members, conduct interviews, participate in hiring, coaching, retention and termination process
- Manage scheduling and payroll for all front of house staff
- Ensure safety and security of team members and guests
- Assist with implementing programs and processes to reduce lost time injuries
- Resolve guest complaints regarding food quality and service
- Provide excellent guest service
- Other duties as assigned
