Job Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately both verbally and in writing
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Must have state food handler and alcohol server certifications

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous server or customer service experience preferred
  • State-issued food handler's certificate
  • State alcohol server certification
  • Knowledge of hospitality software systems such as POS, PMS, CRM
  • Strong coordination and multitasking abilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to diplomatically resolve conflicts
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations preferred

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
  • Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints
  • Follow hotel policies regarding lost and found items
  • Adhere to emergency protocols for guest and team member safety
  • Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts
  • Encourage social media and 5-star reviews
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selection
  • Take accurate food and drink orders
  • Deliver orders with correct presentation
  • Provide menu recommendations including allergen information
  • Prepare and cork wine bottles for tableside service
  • Upsell additional items or beverages
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service
  • Process guest payments accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
  • Follow health and safety guidelines including food safety
  • Give guests a friendly farewell
  • Complete daily setup and closure procedures
  • Inspect and prepare materials and equipment for service
  • Maintain equipment knowledge and comply with policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
