Job Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand primary workplace languages
- Working knowledge of food and beverage sales and hotel operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare and analyze data and figures generated by computer systems
- Must possess moderate computer skills
- Hotel or hospitality degree at bachelor’s level or relevant experience
- Minimum of four years in banquet, catering, convention, or food and beverage related operation
- Personal appearance and grooming commensurate with high profile job
- Physical ability to maneuver between concurrent functions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for eight hours
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hotel or hospitality management or related field
- Minimum four years experience in banquet, catering, convention, or food and beverage operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer systems and data analysis
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage sales and hotel operations
Job Duties
- Sell group dining and special events in restaurants and bars
- Assist restaurant leadership in maintaining social and corporate accounts
- Follow through with inquiries and secure business through proposals and contracts
- Check available space and maximize its utilization
- Meet with clients to ascertain all event details
- Oversee functions to ensure smooth execution
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners
