Job Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
- Moderate computer skills
- Working knowledge of food and beverage sales and hotel operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and figures
- Minimum four years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Personal grooming commensurate with job nature
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 50 pounds, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hotel or hospitality management or related field
- Minimum four years’ experience in banquet, catering, convention, or food and beverage operations
- Working knowledge of food and beverage sales and hotel operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare and analyze data and use computer applications
- Proficiency in the primary workplace language
Job Duties
- Sell group dining and special events in restaurants and bars
- Assist restaurant leadership in maintaining social and corporate accounts
- Follow through with inquiries and block definite business through proposals and contracts
- Check available space and maximize utilization of space
- Meet with clients to ascertain all event details
- Oversee functions to ensure successful execution
