Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years demonstrated multi-unit restaurant management experience preferably in hospitality
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Availability during peak operating times including weekends, holidays and special events
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations in hospitality environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to compute basic arithmetic and mathematical calculations
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Sound leadership and managerial skills
  • Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and guest satisfaction
  • Technical knowledge and competency with necessary systems and software such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience with accounting software, Siriusware, Delphi, ADP preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of retail food outlets including The Grille, Trails End Café and Mountain Eatery Café
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers to plan and execute event bookings to enhance special events and stimulate business levels
  • Create and maintain uniform standards promoting a professional appearance
  • Maintain high level of creativity in Food, Beverage and Promotions
  • Ensure Bear Creek culture fosters guest service and satisfaction
  • Manage 50% floor operations, 30% administrative tasks, and 20% cocktail quality control and promotional growth
  • Maintain and update POS systems for pricing and transaction efficiency
  • Provide support to Banquets FOH as needed
  • Lead and mentor department managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
  • Develop and implement staff training programs focusing on service standards, safety, efficiency and legal requirements
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
  • Assist with hiring and workforce planning
  • Cross-train team members across outlets to create unified Food & Beverage department
  • Oversee scheduling ensuring compliance with minor labor laws
  • Hold regular meetings with outlet managers to review and improve performance
  • Ensure performance management processes are followed
  • Collaborate with accounting on budget development and cost control
  • Monitor expenditures related to purchases and staffing to meet budget goals
  • Participate in annual budgeting process
  • Hold managers accountable for service standards
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns
