Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management or related hospitality role
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to lead and inspire diverse teams
- Knowledge of safety and legal compliance requirements
- Proficient with technology and point of sale systems

Job Qualifications
- Previous management experience in food and beverage or hospitality
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of food safety, service standards, and legal requirements such as TIPS and RAMP
- Experience in budget management and cost control
- Familiarity with POS systems and promotional event planning
- Ability to mentor and motivate staff
- Skilled in conflict resolution and guest service recovery
- Proficient in scheduling and workforce planning
- Adept at multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities
Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of multiple retail food outlets including The Grille, Trails End Cafe, and Mountain Eatery Cafe
- Coordinate with Sales Managers to plan and execute event bookings such as rehearsal dinners and wine festivals
- Create and maintain uniform standards promoting a professional appearance
- Foster creativity in food, beverage, and promotions among team members
- Ensure Bear Creek culture is prevalent for service excellence and guest satisfaction
- Perform floor management, administrative work, and cocktail quality control
- Maintain and update POS systems ensuring efficient and accurate transactions
- Provide support to Banquets FOH when necessary
- Lead and mentor department managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
- Develop and implement training programs focusing on service, safety, and legal standards
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
- Assist in hiring, training, and workforce planning
- Cross-train team members across all outlets to unify the Food & Beverage Department
- Oversee staff scheduling ensuring compliance with labor laws
- Hold regular meetings with outlet managers to discuss improvements and performance
- Ensure proper performance management with HR support
- Collaborate with Accounting to develop and monitor budgets
- Assist Executive Chef with budget goals monitoring staffing and expenses
- Participate in Ephad process
- Hold managers accountable for service standards
- Resolve escalated guest concerns
