Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years food and beverage operation experience
  • 1-2 years management experience
  • must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • safe server alcohol and food handlers certification required
  • ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 45 lbs
  • ability to operate office equipment
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • strong leadership and customer service skills
  • adherence to company grooming and attendance policies
  • ability to work varying schedules
  • compliance with hotel rules and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education
  • bachelors degree preferred
  • 3-5 years food and beverage operation experience
  • 1-2 years management experience
  • culinary, sales, and service background
  • excellent leadership skills
  • strong customer relations capabilities
  • detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • intermediate computer skills
  • basic computational skills
  • knowledge of computer programs including Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS

  • knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and preparation
  • ability to conduct meetings and maintain communication between staff and management

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the F&B outlet to meet daily operation needs
  • support and supervise the hotel F&B outlet while working closely with hotel and department managers
  • maintain communication with vendors and suppliers for timely rollout of seasonal food options
  • direct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories and prepare reports
  • lead and coach the team to achieve exceptional guest service and staff satisfaction
  • maintain staff engagement with guests
  • uphold high energy, positive attitude, and professional appearance
  • develop and monitor schedules to achieve profitable results
  • collaborate with culinary teams on menu creation and merchandising
  • monitor hotel activities and troubleshoot problems
  • perform general cleaning tasks adhering to health standards
  • consult with Director of Sales and Marketing and other departments
  • manage payroll and attendance for F&B staff
  • implement effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs
  • establish and achieve profit objectives and quality standards
  • conduct food and beverage supply orders
  • support hotel programs and long-range planning
  • review customer acceptance and recommend new policies
  • evaluate and encourage improvement of staff
  • administer training and development programs for career advancement
  • oversee departmental compliance with employment laws
  • maintain food quality and consistency
  • participate in hiring and training of staff
  • serve as a role model adhering to policies and standards
  • maintain open communication and resolve staff grievances
  • be familiar with company policies and benefits
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • assist with guest inquiries
