Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education
  • 3-5 years food and beverage operation experience
  • 1-2 years management experience
  • Culinary, sales and service background
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
  • Ability to provide and maintain a valid drivers license
  • Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work varying schedules
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

  • Ability to distinguish product quality, taste, texture and presentation
  • Ability to conduct meetings and maintain communication lines

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the F&B outlet
  • Support and supervise the hotel F&B outlet while working closely with the hotel manager and other hotel department managers
  • Maintain consistent communication with vendors and suppliers for timely rollout of seasonal food options
  • Direct monthly/quarterly/annual inventories
  • prepare and submit inventory reports to accounting in a timely manner
  • Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and staff satisfaction results
  • Maintain high energy, positive attitude, and professional appearance
  • Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of outlets to achieve profitable results
  • Collaborate with the culinary team in the creation of attractive and merchandising menus
  • Monitor hotel activities and troubleshoot problems
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
  • Consult with the Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Manage payroll and attendance for F&B staff
  • Implement effective control of food, beverage and labor costs
  • Establish and achieve profit objectives and quality standards
  • Conduct orders of food and beverage supplies
  • Participate and support hotel programs for continuous improvement
  • Regularly review and evaluate customer acceptance of the outlet
  • Continuously evaluate performance and encourage staff improvement
  • Responsible for quality and consistency in food delivery
  • Responsible for selection, training and development of staff
  • Set targets, plan and schedule work and performance indicators
  • Participate in hiring process and staff training
  • Serve as a role model to all staff
  • Maintain good communications and high morale
  • Be familiar with company policies and benefits
  • Perform other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
