Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
  • minimum two years previous supervisory experience
  • ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • ability to perform mathematical calculations including rate, ratio, and percent
  • flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
  • must complete ServSafe Alcohol certification course
  • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
  • minimum two years of supervisory experience
  • ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues diplomatically
  • strong written communication skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • effective presentation and verbal communication skills
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • knowledge of safety rules and regulatory compliance
  • ServSafe Alcohol certification

Job Duties

  • Supervise an F&B outlet and manage daily shift operations
  • support and administer operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives
  • adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager on scheduling concerns
  • assist in budget process and ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives
  • promote and demonstrate superior customer service and address service issues promptly
  • enforce all gaming laws and regulations applicable to the Food & Beverage Department
  • assist in maintaining food service procedures and inspect menu items
  • support assistant managers in ensuring efficient and sanitary service
  • monitor cost control methods, pars, and inventory during shifts
  • assist with administrative duties as assigned
  • ensure regulatory compliance and report potential issues
  • maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
  • develop and implement staff training programs
  • manage rewards and recognition programs
  • evaluate team members and provide performance feedback
  • recommend staffing, interviewing, hiring, and scheduling to meet business needs
  • manage work procedures and expedite workflow
  • discipline, coach, and counsel employees as necessary
