Job Requirements
- Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of food and beverage experience
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- Ability to interact diplomatically with guests and staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Strong math skills including computation of ratios and percentages
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays and overtime
- Effective presentation and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must qualify for required licenses and permits
- Obtain First Aid/AED certification
- Complete C.A.R.E or TIPS training
- Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) in a related field or equivalent
- Minimum two years of food and beverage experience
- At least two years of previous supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information effectively to groups
- Skilled in basic math including fractions, ratios, and percentages
- Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of gaming laws and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with First Aid/AED certification and safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
- Completion of C.A.R.E or TIPS training
Job Duties
- Supervise an F&B outlet and manage daily shift operations
- Create efficient staff schedules while controlling labor costs and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide financial recommendations
- Promote and enforce superior customer service standards
- Ensure compliance with gaming laws and company policies
- Develop and maintain food service procedures and monitor menu quality
- Assist in cost control by managing inventory and pars
- Support the Food & Beverage Manager with administrative tasks
- Monitor and enforce regulatory compliance and report issues
- Maintain confidentiality in all departmental matters
- Lead staff training and development programs
- Manage rewards and recognition initiatives
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
- Recommend staffing needs including hiring and scheduling
- Oversee work procedures and workflow efficiency
- Provide coaching and counseling to team members
