Job Requirements
- Associates degree in related field
- Two years of food and beverage experience
- Minimum two years previous supervisory experience required
- Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
- Must obtain a First Aid/AED certification
- Must successfully complete C.A.R.E or TIPS training
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have acceptable driving history as determined by company auto insurance carrier
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of food and beverage experience
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- Ability to interact diplomatically with guests, staff, and colleagues to resolve conflicts
- Effective written communication skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpret graphs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operational manuals
Job Duties
- Supervise an F&B outlet during designated shifts and manage daily operations
- Create and maintain effective schedules balancing labor costs and staffing objectives
- Assist in departmental budgeting and monitor compliance with budget initiatives
- Promote and ensure superior customer service standards
- Enforce gaming laws and food service regulations in the F&B department
- Support food service procedures and inspect menu items for quality
- Assist the F&B Outlet Manager in maintaining sanitary and pleasant service
- Monitor cost control methods, inventory, and pars
- Carry out administrative duties as assigned by F&B Manager
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report potential issues
- Maintain confidentiality in departmental and company matters
- Develop and implement staff training and rewards programs
- Evaluate team members and provide constructive performance feedback
- Manage employee scheduling, staffing recommendations, and workflow
- Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary support as needed
