Job Requirements
- High school education
- Degree in culinary arts, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- Four or more years of related food and beverage management experience
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred
- Ability to manage and delegate work effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to comply with legal employment requirements
- Availability to work varied shifts
- Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Job Qualifications
- High school education plus degree in culinary arts, hotel and restaurant management, or related field
- Four or more years of related food and beverage management experience
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred
- Familiarity with hospitality industry, bartender practices and Starbucks procedures preferred
- Knowledge of accounting and budgeting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel when needed
Job Duties
- Direct and ensure food and beverage standards and procedures are followed
- Manage food and beverage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and budget compliance
- Resolve guest complaints to maintain satisfaction
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and development of food and beverage staff
- Develop and manage annual budget and marketing plans for food and beverage
- Assist with hotel life safety and risk management programs
- Ensure proper asset management and maintenance of food and beverage areas
- Lead food and beverage services ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulations
- Maintain effective communication across departments and with guests
- Compile and analyze reports, assist with hotel budgeting and participate in special projects
