Job Requirements

  • Read, write and speak English
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • Possess a Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Basic math and reasoning skills
  • Ability to maintain health and safety standards
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
  • Two years of banquet management experience preferred
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Previous supervisory or management skills and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and employees
  • Basic math skills at eighth grade level
  • High school reasoning and language use levels
  • Ability to uphold health and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Assist department head in oversight of food and beverage department activities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits
  • Interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule and manage food and beverage staff
  • Monitor banquet operations and ensure efficient management
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Manage resources to optimize department performance
