Job Requirements
- Read, write and speak English
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
- Possess a Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Basic math and reasoning skills
- Ability to maintain health and safety standards
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of fine dining experience preferred
- Two years of banquet management experience preferred
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
- Previous supervisory or management skills and experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and employees
- Basic math skills at eighth grade level
- High school reasoning and language use levels
- Ability to uphold health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Assist department head in oversight of food and beverage department activities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits
- Interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule and manage food and beverage staff
- Monitor banquet operations and ensure efficient management
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Manage resources to optimize department performance
