Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years fine dining experience preferred
  • Two years banquet management experience preferred
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit if applicable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous supervisory/management skills and experience
  • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • Must maintain compliance with health and safety standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check

Job Qualifications

  • Read, write and speak English
  • Prefer two to three years of fine dining experience
  • Prefer two years banquet management experience
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable
  • Ability to communicate effectively with public and employees
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Meets minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • Requires 8th grade math level
  • Requires high school reasoning level
  • Requires 12th grade language use level

Job Duties

  • Assist department head in oversight of food and beverage activities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol standards
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service
  • Interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule and manage staff
  • Maximize profits through effective service and marketing
  • Oversee banquet operations and ensure quality event execution
