Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to five years experience in food and beverage management
- Ability to obtain and maintain Florida State Gaming License
- Food Protection Manager Certification required
- TIPS Certification required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and health safety standards
- Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships
- Proficient with relevant software platforms
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain high standards of customer service and employee safety
Job Qualifications
- Two to five years experience in food and beverage operations and managing personnel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Florida State Gaming License
- Food Protection Manager Certification
- TIPS Certification
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Proficiency with management software including Ariba Purchase, Orca Inventory, Jolt Platforms, Oracle Simphony POS Reporting and Analytics, Microsoft Office and Teams, SuccessFactors Payroll and Recruitment
- Knowledge of Responsible Alcohol Service regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Creativity and innovation in food and beverage service offerings
- Commitment to company policies including code of conduct and an open-door communication policy
Job Duties
- Lead food and beverage operations including kitchen, restaurant, concession, and bar outlets
- Manage kitchen, restaurant, and bar inventories maintaining efficient systems
- Schedule staff and match staffing levels to operational needs
- Assist in staff selection, training, development, and conduct performance evaluations
- Ensure full compliance with company SOPs, health and safety standards, including HACCP and Florida Department of Health regulations
- Work with suppliers to negotiate contracts, solicit bids, and ensure product specifications compliance
- Analyze data to optimize menu offerings and manage departmental budget
- Promote safety and security of employees and customers
- Review marketing, food and beverage activities and promotions
- Other duties as assigned
