Job Requirements

  • one year of food and beverage management and/or food and beverage experience
  • capable of taking direction and working with minimal supervision
  • detail oriented
  • must be able to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
  • having an understanding of word, excel, and outlook
  • strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • class ii license
  • food handlers permit
  • mast alcohol training

Job Duties

  • participation and input toward marketing activities
  • ensures compliance with health and safety codes and policies
  • exceptional customer service in a professional manner
  • ensures all billing is accurate
  • lead and motivate staff
  • multi-task and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines and guest expectations
  • participate in monthly staff meetings
  • communicate daily with food and beverage management and sales teams
  • control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • implement daily plans set forth by banquet manager
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitations and organization of banquet areas
  • supervise banquet staff in conjunction with banquet/food and beverage director
  • perform any other duties requested by manager/director
  • monitors all cash handling processes and monitors alcohol services within their assigned events
