Job Requirements

  • Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Leading F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented front-line personnel
  • Assist in managing food and beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards
  • Manage employees in all food and beverage outlets in a respectful manner
  • Manage all front and back of the house restaurant operations
  • Coordinate with F&B Manager and complete scheduled inventories and report re-order needs to the appropriate parties
  • Remain knowledgeable about the most updated laws and guidelines applicable to the F&B operations and team
  • responsible for developing trainings for and communicating about such information to staff, ensuring compliance with the same
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, and managing all personnel matters for front line personnel, including, but not limited to servers, runners, snack bar attendants, bartenders, and barbacks
  • Responsible for inspecting kitchen and bar equipment to hold staff accountable for food sanitation and safety regulations
  • Develop training and train staff on cash handling procedures in accordance with accounting and company policies
  • This includes but is not limited to managing the proper use of POS system, pay methods, promotions and approvals
  • Additionally, required to assist in reconciliation of cash banks and securing bank and related reports and documentation
  • Create and collaborate within the food and beverage team to implement new ideas
  • Must be able to deal with high volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat and cheerful
  • Builds guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and inviting them back
  • Observes all activity within assigned area offering assistance to all guests
  • Observes activity and reports anything that is out of the ordinary
  • Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of management personnel
  • effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships
  • Ensures all guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions
  • Utilizes open body language to guests on casino floor while patrolling

  • Assists in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left on the floor by guests
  • Maintains monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
  • Empowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned
