Job Description

The Food & Beverage Quick Service Area Manager at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily food operations within specific areas of the park. Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management, business or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 3-5 years of food and beverage or kitchen operations experience
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an independent environment and deliver against set goals

Job Duties

  • Assists with overall operation of the food division
  • Implements, controls and coordinates food policies, procedures and financial goals including handbooks, training and motivation, communication, cost of sales, per capita sales, labor costs, and other expenses
  • Ensures minor labor law compliance with all minor associates
  • Ensures food locations comply with department of agriculture regulations, ABC, and safety regulations
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels and develops and implements employee retention programs
  • Selects, trains, supervises and directs seasonal area supervisors
  • Ensures service, quality and integrity standards are maintained
  • Ensures proper inventory and point of sale controls
  • Develops and monitors operating budget
  • Performs all other assigned responsibilities
