Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate required
  • Certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, culinary arts, or related operational/management disciplines is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in executive management capacity ideally including luxury hotel properties with recognized brands
  • CPR certification required
  • Manager's liquor commission card required
  • ServSafe certification for managers required
  • Proven track record in managing high-volume F&B and events/catering operations
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost control and profit/loss management
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of fine dining, wine and culinary trends
  • Ability to train, develop, motivate and manage personnel effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Sensitivity to multi-cultural staff and guest needs
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to anticipate and promptly respond to guest needs
  • Ability to embrace and execute high-quality brand and service standards such as Forbes, LQA, AAA, LHW

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Catering, Culinary and Food & Beverage operations
  • Ensure consistent exceptional guest service standards
  • Adhere to quality and safety standards and specifications
  • Monitor and control cost and labor efficiently
  • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and policies
  • Lead and mentor Food & Beverage culinary, outlet, and catering leadership
  • Foster teamwork, accountability and service excellence
  • Set and monitor goals for departmental functions and hold managers accountable
  • Oversee ongoing training, development and succession planning
  • Ensure completion of mandatory trainings and safety protocol compliance
  • Manage labor and food costs to optimize profitability
  • Oversee annual departmental budgets and proformas
  • Maximize labor efficiencies and control payrolls
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Public Relations, Events and Rooms Division for promotions and guest offerings
  • Initiate F&B merchandising events and programs
  • Collaborate with culinary leaders on menu innovation and approvals
  • Oversee execution of special hotel events
  • Analyze business performance and market trends
  • Monitor local and global F&B trends and competitive developments
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
