Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- previous experience working with children/adolescents with behavioral/emotional needs
- minimum high school diploma or equivalency
- ability to commute throughout Maricopa County utilizing own vehicle
- valid unrestricted Arizona driver's license
- pass DMV 36-month history check
- current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions
- attend 2 weeks of new hire orientation and 2-3 weeks of on-the-job training
- pass pre-employment physical and job demand assessment if applicable
- pass drug test within 24 hours of job offer with negative results
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 21 years of age
- experience working with children/adolescents with behavioral or emotional needs
- minimum high school diploma or equivalency, bachelor's degree preferred
- high school diploma with four years of full-time behavioral health experience or a combination of education and experience totaling at least two years
- associate's degree with at least two years of full-time behavioral health experience
- bachelor's degree with at least one year of full-time behavioral health experience
- ability to commute throughout Maricopa County with own vehicle
- valid unrestricted Arizona driver's license and pass DMV history check
- current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions or eligibility to obtain
- ability to attend new hire orientation and training
Job Duties
- work one-to-one with youth aged 2-17 in natural settings such as home, school, group homes, foster care, or kinship placements
- teach life skills, emotional regulation, behavior reduction, anger management, coping with trauma, and communication techniques
- provide intensive in-home support following a crisis
- develop crisis and safety plans
- support and coach families
- collaborate with Child/Family Teams
- conduct intakes, manage cases, and maintain accurate documentation
