Job Requirements
- At least an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development or related field or obtain credential within eighteen months
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Experience working with culturally diverse and low-income families preferred
- Basic keyboard skills and ability to use computer software including Microsoft Office and web-based systems
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards for children
- Ability to communicate effectively with families in preferred languages
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Development or related field within eighteen months of hire, credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field
- Experience working with culturally diverse and low-income families preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Basic computer and keyboard skills
- Ability to use software programs such as Microsoft Office and web-based systems
Job Duties
- Collaborate with families to identify needs, interests, strengths, goals, and resources
- Serve as a liaison connecting families to community and program services
- Conduct family engagement services and activities in preferred languages
- Actively supervise children by sight and sound in all environments
- Maintain health and safety regulations to create optimum learning environments
- Facilitate health practices to ensure children’s safety indoors and outdoors
- Promote school readiness by preparing children and families for success
