Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in event coordination or related ministry roles
- Commitment to Christian values and the church's religious mission
- Ability to work full-time with presence in the office
- Availability for evening and weekend events as required
- Proficiency with digital tools including Canva and spreadsheets
- Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate volunteers effectively

- Previous experience in event planning, ministry, or hospitality preferred
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the Family Ministry Team to plan, coordinate, and oversee family-oriented ministry events throughout the year
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics including venue setup, food, activities, themes, décor, and volunteers
- Assist with the management of the Family Ministry Team event calendar to ensure a cohesive plan
- Contribute original ideas for gatherings, themes, and activities reflecting the church's mission and culture
- Collaborate across teams to ensure ministry alignment, shared vision, and consistent event experiences
- Utilize Canva, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools to support event design, communication, and tracking
- Ensure event spaces are inviting, safe, and conducive to connection for children and families
- Provide timely updates to staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders and follow up after meetings and events
- Assess and communicate volunteer needs to each ministry department for recruitment
- Promote events through church communication channels including newsletters, website, and announcements
- Support planning and organizing annual mission trips
- Evaluate events and provide feedback for improvement
