Job Requirements
- Part-time availability for 15 hours per week
- ability to work 2-3 weekdays preferably Monday through Friday
- availability between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- ability to maintain a smoke-free environment
- reliable transportation with a personal vehicle and willingness to log mileage for reimbursement
- current vaccinations including COVID and flu preferred
- comfort working in a home with food allergies and dietary restrictions
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- willingness to undergo a background check

- You are an experienced, thoughtful professional who brings culinary expertise and operational excellence into a private home
- You understand that feeding a family well, especially one with young children and dietary considerations, is skilled, intentional work, and you approach it with the standards and care of a private-home or culinary professional
- You are highly capable with organization, laundry, and household systems, and you understand how kitchen flow, pantry setup, laundry cycles, and daily resets work together to support a household as a whole
- You are proactive, observant, and discreet
- You notice what needs attention, take initiative without waiting for direction, and communicate clearly and professionally
- Discreet & Professional: Comfortable working in a private household with trust and sound judgment
- Proactive & Efficient: Anticipates needs and takes thoughtful action
- High Emotional Intelligence: Communicates clearly and adapts to family dynamics
- Reliable & Consistent: Follows through and can be trusted with meaningful responsibility
- Severe allergies to milk, peanuts, and most tree nuts in the home

Job Duties
- Employment Type: Part- Time 15 hours per week
- Typical hours between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Intentionally structured to minimize overlap with morning and evening family routines

- You are confident in creating, preparing, and managing meals while being conscientious of food allergies and dietary preferences This also includes collaborating with us on our family favorites
- You take pride in meals that are nourishing, reliable, and seamlessly integrated into daily family life
- You work independently, manage your time well, and bring a strong sense of ownership, care, and follow-through to your role
- Meal Planning & Execution Expert: Brings private-home or professional cooking experience and treats meals as a central responsibility
- Designs and prepares meals with precision, efficiency, and consistency for family's dietary needs and preferences
- Organized & Systems-Oriented: Applies structure and flow to the entire home
- Meal Planning & Preparation
- Plan and prep simple, healthy meals and snacks for the family
- Batch-prep weekly lunches and dinners as well as fresh options
- Carefully follow dietary needs and preferences, including:
- Minimal sugar
- Clean kitchen post-prep and maintain kitchen organization
- Maintain and improve household organization systems (closets, pantry, entire kitchen, toys, storage area)
- Reset and tidy high-traffic areas regularly
- prepare home for monthly cleaning services
- Conduct seasonal swaps and cycling children's clothing for growth stages
- Load and unload dishwasher and bottle washer, wipe surfaces, and vacuum high-traffic areas
- Unpack and organize grocery deliveries
- Maintain indoor plants
- Laundry & Linen Care
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away all family laundry
- Manage linens (bedding, towels, restocking essentials)
- Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked
- Inventory Management & Errands
- Assist with maintaining household supply lists
- Run errands as needed (returns, occasional grocery runs)
- Occasional Vehicle Support
- Weekly support with vehicle cleaning and organization
- Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
- Tackle occasional deep-cleaning projects (fridge, freezer, oven, baseboards)
- Support unpacking and organizing remaining boxes from a recent move
- Maintain and refresh key zones (entryway, mudroom, basement storage areas)
- Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthly
- Organize special projects such as toy rotation, seasonal décor, and gear storage
