Job Requirements

  • First-class medical certificate
  • Must be able to work on an on-call basis
  • Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually
  • Must be located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of KBJC
  • Management background with exceptional leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours pilot in command (PIC)
  • 1500 hours multi-engine land (MEL)
  • 500 hours MEL PIC
  • 500 hours turbojet time
  • 250 hours instrument time
  • NBAA CAM certification or applicable leadership training preferred
  • Experience in training flight operations personnel
  • Budget development and management experience
  • College degree or advanced non-flight training
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience contributing to best practices in flight operations
  • Typed on Falcon 2000LXS

Job Duties

  • Supervises assigned personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus policies, FAA regulations, and other manuals
  • Monitors personal appearance, dress code, and conduct of personnel
  • Maintains current read and file of Solairus Aviation memorandums
  • Coordinates, schedules, and reviews crew and maintenance personnel training
  • Coordinates all maintenance test, training, and other non-routine flights
  • Develops scheduling procedures with clients for efficient aircraft scheduling
  • Approves and schedules personal time off for assigned personnel
  • Updates flight coordinator on aircraft schedule changes and related matters
  • Conducts meetings to coordinate activities, identify issues, and promote employee goodwill
  • Approves expense accounts for assigned personnel
  • Participates in interviewing new personnel
  • Solicits client input and approval on operational, personnel, and administrative issues
  • Submits reports as required by operations manuals
  • Revises manuals and publications assigned to aircraft
  • Maintains training currency and monthly flight time records for crew members
  • Ensures timely submission of training records, medicals, and operational data
  • Promotes customer goodwill and company reputation through professional service
  • Actively participates in Safety Management System implementation and initiatives
