Job Requirements
- able to lift or carry up to 35 pounds
- able to push or pull using up to 45 pounds of force
- able to reach overhead up to six hours per day
- valid driver’s license
- 100% onsite work required
- must meet export control compliance as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. §120.15
- ability to stand for 6-8 hours, walk constantly, climb stairs, bend and twist frequently, squat and kneel frequently, use hand and arm motions repetitively
- work a 2nd shift schedule
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or GED preferred
- 1+ years of janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials preferred
- 1+ years of experience following written and verbal work instructions preferred
Job Duties
- work in all company facilities and work environments such as offices, factories, cafeterias, fitness centers, restrooms, and transportation tunnels
- handle and dispose of hazardous materials using approved methods as required including blood-borne pathogen clean up with provided training
- work with chemicals used to perform cleaning tasks and maintain cleaning supplies with knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning agents
- perform routine custodial tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, detailing offices, conference rooms, stairways, restrooms, and emptying trash
- wear backpack style vacuum to clean all traffic areas, offices, aisles, transportation tunnels, stairs, and stairwells and reposition furniture as needed
- thoroughly clean restrooms, disinfect and clean all floor surfaces, and operate approved cleaning machinery including equipment for hard floor care and carpet extraction
- follow detailed written and verbal instructions, work independently with minimal supervision, and assist others when needed
- perform physical tasks including reaching overhead, walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, grasping and handling tools and materials, and operating low impact vibratory tools constantly throughout the workday
