The Facility Support Technician role at Hospice of the Valley is a full-time, day-shift position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week from 8 am to 5 pm. This role is integral to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming physical environment across Hospice of the Valley facilities. The technician provides a range of services including general housekeeping, day porter duties, and preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in patient rooms and communal areas, performing routine maintenance such as painting, changing light bulbs, and assembling furniture, and supporting efficient facility operations through proactive observation and management. The Facility Support Technician also plays a key role in logistics by moving boxed items and furnishings between locations and managing supplies by monitoring inventory and notifying purchasing when restocking is necessary.
