Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years custodial experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • valid Wisconsin driver’s license with insurance carrier clearance
  • First Aid, CPR, AED certification and Naloxone administration
  • ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and participate in weekend opening rotation
  • physical ability to stand, walk, sit occasionally
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • good vision including depth perception and color vision
  • ability to use custodial equipment including mops, vacuums, carpet shampooers, buffers and ladders

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years custodial experience or equivalent training and experience
  • First Aid, CPR, AED certification and Naloxone administration
  • valid Wisconsin driver’s license with insurance clearance
  • knowledge of personal protective equipment and safety procedures
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to interpret work orders and material safety data sheets
  • strong multitasking, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work professionally with diverse individuals
  • teamwork orientation and good judgment in personnel and business matters

Job Duties

  • Oversee all housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and healthy facility
  • monitor and collaborate on scheduling custodial and building services staff
  • establish daily operational routines including trash removal and grounds beautification
  • assist in training and development of custodial staff
  • report mechanical or electrical problems and unsafe conditions
  • supervise and participate in event setups and teardowns including equipment handling
  • assist with light maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, and electrical work
  • perform outdoor maintenance tasks such as snow and ice removal
  • maintain safety standards and comply with health and safety manuals
