Job Requirements
- Must be able to carry out instructions and deal with standard situations
- Lifting requirements include 60 plus pounds occasionally 20 plus pounds frequently 10 plus pounds consistently
- Bend and stoop repeatedly
- Stand for 8 to 12 hours a day
- Work effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Follow safe working practices and company guidelines
- Be able to work around and with chemicals and strong smells
- Be team orientated
- Have a flexible working schedule including morning or evening shifts
- Have good work habits pay attention to details and surroundings and have good work ethics
- Work in extreme temperatures including below 41F as required
Job Qualifications
- Prior cleaning experience is helpful
- Knowledge of how to use chemicals properly including application to surfaces and areas is helpful
- Ability to read write and communicate in English is helpful
Job Duties
- Clean assigned areas both inside and outside of the facility including mopping sweeping dusting polishing scouring taking out trash and other cleaning related functions as assigned
- Burn international trash and handle some heavy-duty cleaning responsibilities
- Clean organize and put away dishes utensils and equipment in a timely manner
- Properly dispose of food and trash as required
- Report any problems inconsistencies damage and breakdowns
- Keep track of porter supply inventories and report items when low
- Ensure compliance with quality standards FDA HACCP and all other regulations
