Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of sixteen years of age
  • Three months experience as a facility attendant, customer service representative, or closely related experience preferred
  • Must possess current CPR/AED certifications or the ability to acquire same within three months from date of hire
  • Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 pounds intermittently
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of sixteen years of age

  • Basic knowledge of computer operations and facility management software
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to follow established rules and procedures
  • Capability to perform light to moderate physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • Communicate effectively in spoken and written English to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
  • Greet customers upon facility entry and assist with their needs
  • Oversee, monitor, and record attendance in various facility areas including gym, lobby, game room, weight room, track, aerobics area, and pool
  • Collect monies, issue receipts, and operate a cash drawer
  • Operate computer and facility management software to process admissions, register customers for passes, create activity registrations, and sell resale items
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, maintenance activities, class registrations, and accidents
  • Observe and enforce facility rules and regulations
  • Render aid as needed including administering CPR and using AED devices
  • Clean recreational equipment and facility work areas
  • Distribute recreational equipment to patrons
  • Answer phone calls regarding activities and department information
  • Perform other assigned work duties
