Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old at time of hire
- Previous customer service experience required
- CPR certification required or obtain within 90 days of hire
- Ability to perform frequent moderate to considerable physical effort
- Ability to lift and handle medium weight objects up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Must pass background check including criminal sex offender search
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Minimum of 16 years of age at time of hire
- Previous custodial or building attendant work experience desired
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret directions for cleaning agents
- Patience, good judgment, and diplomacy in dealing with facility guests
Job Duties
- Provide consistent and quality janitorial services
- Assist in cleaning tasks and duties throughout the Recreation/Senior Center
- Perform event, program, and class setups and strikes
- Secure the facility including locking and unlocking
- Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
- Provide written or verbal reports on inventory and cleaning schedules
- Communicate technical failures to supervisors and technical staff
