Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old at time of hire
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • CPR certification required or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to perform frequent moderate to considerable physical effort
  • Ability to lift and handle medium weight objects up to 50 lbs
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Must pass background check including criminal sex offender search
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Minimum of 16 years of age at time of hire
  • Previous custodial or building attendant work experience desired
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to read and interpret directions for cleaning agents
  • Patience, good judgment, and diplomacy in dealing with facility guests

Job Duties

  • Provide consistent and quality janitorial services
  • Assist in cleaning tasks and duties throughout the Recreation/Senior Center
  • Perform event, program, and class setups and strikes
  • Secure the facility including locking and unlocking
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
  • Provide written or verbal reports on inventory and cleaning schedules
  • Communicate technical failures to supervisors and technical staff
