Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to interact with members in a friendly and professional manner
- attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance
- ability to work independently and report concerns
- awareness of safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- high school education or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification within first 30 days
- good communication and interaction skills
- ability to handle a variety of situations in a friendly and persuasive manner
- knowledge of YMCA programs and services
Job Duties
- clean and disinfect the facility
- monitor cleanliness and maintenance of fitness center
- assist in laundry operation as needed
- pickup weight room
- check soap in locker rooms and replenish
- meet and greet members
- secure facility before leaving
- communicate maintenance and housekeeping concerns to supervisor
- maintain high awareness of suspicious characters or activities in the fitness center
