Job Description

PopStroke is a dynamic, founder-led brand that thrives on energy, culture, and teamwork to create exceptional guest experiences. Founded on the belief that energy generates results and culture drives momentum, PopStroke isn't just about operating venues, but about building something extraordinary together with a team-oriented approach. Every team member at PopStroke is given limitless potential to grow into their best selves, encouraged to bring bold ideas to the table, and supported every step of the way. This dedication to growth, trust, and challenge fosters an environment where people rise by working collaboratively and passionately. The company prides itself on being hands-on, problem-solving with a solution-oriented mindset while maintaining a fun and positive atmosphere at all times. These values are encapsulated in what they call "The PopStroke Way," a culture emphasizing fun, energy, ownership, and continuous improvement.

The core values at PopStroke include "Make It Fun" where creativity, positivity, and joy are essential in all interactions; "Bring the Energy" which focuses on showing enthusiasm and optimism consistently; "Roll Up Your Sleeves" encouraging every team member to actively contribute to solutions and improvements; "Own It" which means taking pride and accountability in every role; and "Get Off the Hamster Wheel," pushing for rethinking processes and always looking for better ways to serve guests and the team.

As a Facilities Porter at PopStroke, you become the vital force behind the scenes who ensures the entire venue remains safe, spotless, and welcoming for guests. In this hands-on position, you'll conduct regular inspections of the venue to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction. Your duties also include sanitizing all areas thoroughly, emptying trash receptacles safely, and operating equipment such as trash compactors. Monitoring inventory and replenishing supplies keep operations smooth, while reporting any issues immediately signals your ownership mindset. You will contribute to storm preparedness and recovery, participate in special projects, and work both indoors and outdoors, showcasing your flexibility and dedication. This role is designed for someone who values a clean and safe environment, operates independently yet collaborates well with the team, and thrives in a fast-paced setting where no two days are exactly the same.
