Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
- minimum one year experience in custodial or general building maintenance work
- possession of a valid Class C California driver's license
- ability to work varied schedules including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- ability to operate maintenance equipment
- ability to communicate effectively with the public
- ability to work independently
Job Qualifications
- Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
- one year of experience in custodial work in a large office or commercial complex or general building maintenance
- possession of a valid Class C California State Driver's License
- knowledge of custodial and general maintenance work methods and safety practices
- ability to operate maintenance equipment
- ability to perform minor repairs
- effective oral and written communication skills
- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- ability to establish effective working relationships
Job Duties
- Prepare ballfields for games
- keep picnic areas clean and inviting
- perform custodial and general maintenance work
- operate a variety of maintenance equipment safely
- recognize and repair minor maintenance problems
- communicate effectively with the public
- prioritize and execute work assignments independently
