Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of direct experience
- with 3 years in a supervisory role
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and surveillance systems
- strong observational skills and attention to detail
- preserve a high level of confidentiality
- must be able to follow safety standards
- demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- capability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelines
- provide training on security policies and procedures
- able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
- proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Job Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of loss prevention procedures
- act as front-line security to effectively monitor and protect company assets
- utilize CCTV to monitor activity and investigate losses
- conduct periodic rounds of entire property including all departments, work areas, and parking lots
- identify and make recommendations for minimizing physical hazards and unsafe work practices in partnership with Safety Manager
- complete monthly audits including but not limited to hose locks, electronic device allowance and screening
- develop and maintain a working relationship with local law enforcement authorities
- control inhouse security staff responsibilities, assist in trainings and overall development
- enhance and support a working relationship with all departments in the fulfillment center
- capacity to remain calm in hostile or uncomfortable circumstances
- direct liaison with third party security guards for daily operations including, but not limited to, coordinating resources for open doors, escorts, responding to medical emergencies, and addressing any other activities requiring security assistance
