Job Requirements
- Minimum three years of janitorial experience
- Physical capability to perform various physical tasks regularly and as needed
- Ability to report to work at scheduled hours consistently
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Commitment to uphold community standards
- Ability to communicate issues clearly in writing
- Compliance with company safety policies
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks is preferred
Job Qualifications

- Ability to perform light maintenance preferred
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Physical capability to walk the property including stairs
- Ability to follow safety regulations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Sweep and vacuum all public areas, stairways, halls, laundry rooms, building entrances, and trash rooms daily
- Wet mop and vacuum public areas three to four times per week
- Dust and clean washers and dryers weekly and remove trash daily
- Dust and clean all light fixtures weekly and monthly, replace light bulbs as needed
- Clean mailbox fronts and public walls monthly, scrub trash room walls monthly
- Clean, treat, and service pool according to schedule
- Pick up trash on grounds and common areas daily
- Report missing light bulbs, damage, vandalism, and other issues in writing
- Work with directors to manage maintenance-related and capital improvement activities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Satisfy work orders promptly and efficiently
- Assist in make-ready process of vacant apartments
- Adhere to all company policies including safety practices
