- high school diploma or equivalent
- a minimum of three years experience in property maintenance
- ability to walk around the property including stairs
- physical ability to lift heavy items and perform various physical tasks regularly
- must have personal tools
- dependable and punctual
- ability to work effectively with supervisors and residents
- commitment to continuous skill improvement
Job Qualifications
- minimum of three years of property maintenance experience
- working knowledge of HVAC systems
- familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills to interact with residents and staff
- physical capability to perform maintenance duties
- possession of own tools
Job Duties
- manage maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within the property
- inspect, schedule, and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment
- address work orders promptly and efficiently
- interact effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors, and co-workers
- assist in preparing vacant apartments for new move-ins
- maintain working knowledge of HVAC systems and appliance repair
- uphold community standards through quality maintenance practices
