Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- at least 2 full years of recent related experience
- working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- good written and oral communication skills
- ability to lift 25 lbs
- ability to push and pull or maneuver 50-75 lbs
- ability to work outdoors 50 percent of the time
- ability to work at heights of or about 50 feet
- must pass company testing for welding
- ability to obtain Airport Transport Authority badge
- ability to obtain Customs Seal for Airport Transport Authority badge if required
- pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- airport fingerprinting
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- schedule oversee and assist contractors ensuring safety quality and cleanliness of work performed
- escort contractors in critical areas when required
- perform building repairs including drywall paint wall-covering ceiling tile and grid carpet and tile flooring door and door hardware
- perform plumbing repairs including faucets sinks urinals toilets drains and valves
- perform exterior repairs including irrigation signs fence roof and metal siding
- perform daily site inspections of facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation
- perform preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment and create equipment check sheets
- provide reports to Maintenance Coordinator noting problems found
- perform HVAC repairs including heating boilers air conditioning units VAV boxes exhaust fans and building automation controls
- perform electrical repairs such as replacing lamps ballasts switches receptacles cord caps wiring of single and three phase motors and installation of circuits
- manage work requests create spreadsheets and maintain inventory of tools and supplies
- create online purchase orders for parts and supplies
- manage office furniture reconfigurations furniture moves and office moves as requested
