Job Requirements
- Possess strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair, and basic HVAC/refrigeration
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing facilities safety
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple schedules while planning work
- Ability to communicate and train facility maintenance and repair concepts effectively
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for travel between restaurants
- Compliance with safe driving laws
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent education and experience with two years formal or informal training in repair and maintenance
- Preferred experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or appliance repair

- Two years of formal or informal training in facility repair and maintenance
- Experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or appliance repair preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level
- Perform facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants
- Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of restaurant facilities including cooking equipment, HVAC systems, sinks, plumbing, electrical circuits, and refrigeration units
- Carry out set procedures when facilities cease functioning, function improperly, or threaten health and safety
- Train managers, crew, and restaurant staff on managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing restaurant facilities
- Ensure staff correctly and consistently follow facility maintenance practices and procedures
- Conduct facility maintenance and repair seminars individually or in group settings
- Provide the Operations Team and Regional Facility Manager with maintenance visit reports detailing strengths and areas for improvement
- Identify issues contributing to higher maintenance and repair costs and communicate with relevant teams
- Guide restaurants on maintaining and updating facility records
- Perform equipment and building repairs during emergencies or scheduled visits
- Conduct new store turnover, 90 day and one-year walks with contractors and Operations Team
- Serve as liaison between restaurants, landlords, contractors, and vendors for facility repairs
- Assist Operations Team in analyzing and escalating facility issues
- Represent facilities at operations management meetings and communicate with management
- Provide field support and communication to the Development Department on regional initiatives
- Assist in communicating contractor deficiencies on repair projects
- Follow Development Department guidelines
- Complete other duties as needed to advance projects or resolve business issues
